A Note on Our Fees: Why Prices Are Changing at ProMotion Chiropractic
By Jeremiah Handschin, D.C.
I don't like raising prices, and I've put it off as long as I responsibly could. But starting November 1, fees at ProMotion Chiropractic and Rehabilitation will go up. I want to explain why, what's changing, and what stays exactly the same.
Why now
Anyone who lives in Jackson Hole knows what's happened to the cost of living here. Rent has climbed steadily, and so have nearly all the costs of running a clinic, including:
Rent and utilities for our space in Wilson
Malpractice and business insurance
Equipment, rehab tools, and supplies
Software, scheduling, and record-keeping systems that keep your care organized and your information secure
Continuing education, so I can keep bringing you current, evidence-based care
For a long time I absorbed these increases instead of passing them on. To keep the practice healthy and continue giving each patient the time and attention they deserve, I now need to adjust my fees.
What's changing
Starting November 1:
New patient exam: $225 → $250
25-minute follow-up appointment: $125 → $150
One-hour follow-up appointment: $200 → $225
Any appointment before November 1 will be billed at the current rate.
If you use insurance: I'm still in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Aetna. Your cost depends on your plan's coverage. Please call if you'd like help checking your benefits.
What isn't changing
The way I practice stays the same. When you come to ProMotion, you'll still get:
One-on-one time with me for your whole visit
A thorough evaluation, including functional and movement assessment, not just a quick adjustment
Rehab and exercise programming built around your goals, whether that's getting through a ski season, getting back on the trail, or getting out of pain at work
Clear communication about your care plan and what to expect
My goal has always been to help you move well and stay active in this place we love, and to give you the tools to do it on your own. That isn't changing.
Questions?
If you have questions about the new fees or about how this affects your care plan, please reach out. Call or text 307.699.3170, or ask me at your next visit. I'm always happy to talk it through.
Thank you for your trust, your referrals, and your support. Being able to care for this community is a privilege, and I'm grateful for every one of you.
